If you are working in garments, bags or other fashion industry goods creations, VirTailor will become your new favourite service provider. We are a company of international fashion modeling engineers and traditional tailoring experts. We offer a wide variety of engineering services in very attractive and complete packages, for any garments or leather goods creator, to accelerate their time-to-market and reduce costs.
We combined top-tier CAD (Computer Aided Design) and 3D technologies with professional traditional fashion engineering team and carefully developed processes, to provide state-of-the-art services from the drawing of a dream design through the modeling, pattern creation, prototyping and the complex and boring process of production of documentations.
Our 3D technologies provide a rapid process to visually see the real 3D look and fit of the design through the entire interactive modeling process, so the designer will have a deep understanding before any costly and time consuming sewing. We also provide photo-realistic 3D rendering with professional textile and material simulation for both pictures for e-commerce sites and digital polls, and customized catwalk videos for campaigns and demonstration usage.
Our customers take advantage of dramatic improvements of costs and time spent to a design brought into the market along with a cost reduction using VirTailor services.
We take security very seriously. We encrypt all our data, including what we receive from our clients, and we make sure no unauthorized access is possible. Your designs are safe with us, no leakage or stealth is possible from our network or staff.
The system of VirTailor is a dream came true that was born 3 years ago, but let’s not rush ahead...let’s start at the beginnings.
When I was a child I created dresses from every rag, not even my parents could stop me, and I made ‘fashion shows’ for our neighbours. I became a secret admirer of nice textiles and handicrafts. Despite that, I have studied computer programming in school. Later on, each of my jobs somehow connected to the textile- and garment industry. It wasn’t a coincidence. I have learnt everything about the profession thoroughly and consistently, as an autodidact.
I have assisted in building Europe’s most modern jacquard weaving mill at an Italian company. The production management has presented me significant challenges that included prototype development and I also had to be able to deal with raw material logistics and price analysis. Not much later I have created my own business: Texmania provided me with experiences in the areas of haute-couture textile trade and made to measure...and my sons were born.
I quickly realized that, as a mother with several children I do not have much chance in the labor market. I summarized what I had experience in and what I would need on the current professional segment, what position this segment is in...and I had no other choice but a revolution. I had to make my own decisions about what I wanted to do and where. All or nothing. The garment industry had to be revolutionized using the newest developments and technology, so that a broader layer could use it.
After dreaming up the idea came the realization of the plans. Business plan, searching for hardwares and softwares. Traveling to foreign development institutes, brainstormings, tests (e.g. body scanning, modeling technologies, textile simulation). After the idea started to become more real we had to find those professionals who can be the pillars of the project.
This is how I have found: Szumja Uranceceg, our Mongolian senior garment engineer, who has 25 years of experience in production management in the garment industry and is always looking for new challenges.
The other members of the team, who joined later on, are also persistent and enthusiastic. And all of them, not to mention, women.
The members of our team have many years of experience in the garment industry. Knowing about the perceived gaps and unnecessary costs in the garment industry, we have created the system - with the most modern softwares and their continuous integration, programming - from a lot of parts that will help us avoiding these problems. This unique development and knowledge cannot be copied.
After that the solution was envisioned...the outcome is pretty logical. Freud must think so...
